Newell University is a seminar series aimed at educating plant engineers, operation managers, maintenance managers, QC personnel and plant leadership. The sessions are technical in nature in small class room settings using hands-on and real life examples.

Will Castrey
I am pleased to announce that Will Castrey has joined M.G. Newell Corporation as the Director of Engineering for Automation. Will attended Brigham Young University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
6th Annual James B. Beam Institute Industry Conference
On March 17th-19th Newell Automation attended the 6th annual James Beam Institute Technical Conference in Lexington, KY. Our very own Jeff Bruinsma, Senior Automation Engineer, was a speaker focusing on integrating IO-Link in distillery operations. His presentation titles “This Aint’ Your Grandpa’s Distillery: Integrating IO-Link to Build a Bourbon 4.0” discusses how distilleries can prepare for the future through data-driven process optimization and smart maintenance.

M.G. Newell Expands in Greensboro
M.G. Newell continues to grow! We’ve purchased a new building at the corner of Cessna Drive and Gallimore Dairy Road in Greensboro. After some remodeling work, the Greensboro Division engineers and sales team will be moving to this location.
Corporate associates will remain at our current location on Citation Court.
